This standard specifies a general test method for comparing the achromatic ability of white pigments. It includes two methods: Method A is suitable for rapid testing of a single sample, and Method B is suitable for detailed testing of multiple samples. The method includes the preparation and application of blue paste to compare the achromatic ability of pigments. If the general method does not apply to a specific product, a special method should be developed. This standard helps to unify the lighting power evaluation of white pigments and improve the accuracy of experimental results.
