The SN/T 2761-2011 standard specifies the evaluation method for coating adhesion of color coated metal plates (strips), mainly through Cupping test to evaluate the resistance of coatings. This standard applies to color coated metal plates (strips) with a substrate thickness of 0.20mm~ 2.00mm and a Coating thickness ≤ 250μm. In the test, the adhesion performance of the coating is evaluated by cutting the grid pattern on the surface of the sample and applying stamping, and then tearing it off with scotch tape. Finally, the grade is based on the ratio of the number of grids to the total number of peeling coatings. The standard also details the equipment and materials required for the test, including Cupping test machines, cutting tools, scotch tape, etc., to ensure the accuracy and repeatability of the test.
