This test method is used to evaluate the Color-Strength of Colorimetric Coatings relative to Standard or Reference Coatings, mainly by using standard mixed white Coatings diluted test samples, and making instrument measurements and calculations. The tinting strength is one of the important indicators for evaluating the economic value of Coatings, but this method is only applicable to single pigment Coatings. The standard provides a guide to the operation of the instrument for Colorimetric determination, and indicates possible errors in the test and correction methods to ensure the accuracy of the results. This method is not suitable for Coatings containing multiple pigments, emphasizing the application value in production control and mass comparison.
