This standard is used to evaluate the resistance of interior-wall coatings to mold growth. The mildew resistance performance of coatings is tested by simulating harsh internal conditions in a specific environment chamber to accelerate mold growth. The experimental setting temperature and Humidity are within a strict range to ensure the Repeatability and Reliability of the test. Although this method is mainly suitable for interior paints, its suitability for exterior wall coatings has not been verified, so special attention should be paid to the interpretation of the results for the evaluation of exterior coatings.
