GB/T 1724-2019 "Determination of Paints, varnish and Printing ink fineness of ground" is published by the National Coating and pigment Standardization Technical Committee. It is an update and replacement of GB/T 1724-1979 "Determination of Coating Fineness" and GB/T 6753.1-2007 "Determination of Paints, varnish and Printing ink fineness of ground". This standard is drafted in accordance with the rules of GB/T 1.1-2009, using ISO 1524:2013 as the basis for modification, and has made editorial revisions and technical updates in combination with domestic practice. The standard specifies the determination method of film fineness of ground in detail, including adding new ranges and Measuring methods, providing a comparison table with ISO 1524:2013 and a description of technical differences. Applicable to fields such as Paints, varnish and Printing ink, the standard drafting was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and jointly developed and promoted by relevant units.
