The ASTM D1876-08 (2023) standard test method (T-type disbonding test) is used to determine the adhesion force relative peeling strength between flexible Adhesives. The unbonded end of the test sample is clamped by a clamp of a tension testing device and a constant head velocity load is applied, recording the relationship between the load and head movement or disbonding distance. The disbonding performance of the gluing line over a specific length is evaluated after testing. The standard aims to provide a benchmark for Adhesive performance evaluation.
