This standard specifies the allowable limit of harmful substances to human body and environment in various types of vehicle Coatings, including original automobile Coatings, Refinishing, Rail trasit vehicle Coatings and Motorcycle, Bicycle and other Coatings. The standard covers product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and Encasement marks. The standard does not apply to tractor transport machinery, wheeled special mechanical vehicles and military vehicle Coatings. Through the implementation of the standard, the content of harmful substances in vehicle Coatings can be effectively controlled to protect the environment and human health.
