The standard was proposed by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association and centralized by the National Coatings and pigments Standardization Technical Committee. The standard covers the technical requirements and performance indicators of marine anti-rust paints, and stipulates the application of anti-rust paints on ships, including anti-rust performance, adhesion, water resistance, etc. The participating drafting units include a number of chemical and marine coatings related enterprises, ensuring the comprehensiveness and applicability of the standard to meet the anti-rust needs of ships in various environments.
