This standard provides a method for the measurement of torque retention on containers with continuous threaded caps by means of automated torque testing equipment. It is suitable for containers of various designs and materials and enables the evaluation of Encasement's child resistance and its performance under controlled conditions. Test methods include the evaluation of child-proof and non-child-proof containment systems. Automatic Sensors-based torque meters are used in the measurement process, and dry torque data are recorded.
