The ASTM D5414-95 (2020) standard test method is used to evaluate the performance of the parcel film of the tensile unit under horizontal impact. The method simulates the horizontal impact that may be encountered during the loading and unloading of warehouses, transportation vehicles, and pallet marshalling. The test is mainly used to compare the overall performance of different films and the effectiveness of different Encasement cycles of the same Encasement material. The user can adjust the test level and the number of impacts according to the needs to suit the specific distribution environment.
