ASTM F3169-16 standard test method for leak detection in blister Encasement by laser measurement. This method is suitable for non-porous blister Encasement with flexible film sealing, such as pharmaceutical Encasement. It measures the deflection of the blister Encasement surface to detect gas loss due to leakage, so as to evaluate the integrity of the Encasement. The test is non-Destructiveness and non-subjective, and is widely used in pharmaceutical Encasement production, Stability testing, and Encasement studies. The test results are reported in qualitative form (pass/fail), which can effectively detect dimensional defects in blister Encasement.
