This standard amends GB/T 12033-1989 to specify the method for the determination of saccharide components in papermaking raw materials and pulp by gas chromatograph. The amendments include adding a preface, adjusting the subject matter and scope of application, updating the citation standard, modifying the principle, reagent and material requirements, instrument requirements, as well as test procedures and calculation formulas. In addition, the new standard introduces the requirements for the detection limit and collection rate, deletes the original Appendices A and B, and adds the relevant appendix. The standard is applicable to the determination of saccharide components in various types of papermaking raw materials and pulp, and provides detailed gas chromatograph analysis procedures and conditions.
