This standard specifies a variety of test methods for measuring the abrasion resistance of aluminum and aluminum alloy anodic oxide coatings and organic polymer films, including spray grinding, shakeout, pulley grinding, rubber wheel grinding, eraser friction and coefficient of friction. The spray grinding method and shakeout method are suitable for samples with film thickness greater than 5 μm, the pulley grinding method and the rubber wheel grinding method are suitable for relatively flat film layers, while the eraser friction method is suitable for samples with film thickness less than 5 μm, and the coefficient of friction method is required for anti-skid performance. The standard describes in detail the scope of application and operational requirements of these methods.
