The ASTM D4674-2019 Standard Implementation Specification is used to evaluate the Color Stability of plastics in a typical office environment. This test simulates the effects of light and heat on the Color of plastics in an office environment, but does not cover deterioration caused by local phenomena such as handling or dirt. The standard provides exposure methods using fluorescent lamps and window-filtrated daylight to evaluate the Color Stability of materials. Test results may vary depending on the Light spectrum distribution and irradiance of the light, so a detailed operation report should be accompanied. It is recommended that tests be performed concurrently with control materials with known properties to improve the conformity and Reliability of the results.
