This standard provides a method for determining the density of Coating powders, using a Gas Comparison Specific Gravity bottle as a test tool. This method is applicable to all types of Coating powders and is designed to ensure the accuracy and conformity of measurement results. Compared to the previous edition, this standard has undergone technical revisions, mainly including: Revision of scope and definitions of terms, change of gas use from air or helium to helium or nitrogen, and update of normative references. In addition, the standard clarifies acceptable differences between the two results, presented in percentage form. Updates to this standard aim to improve the accuracy of test methods and ease of operation.
