The ISO 1 2625-4: 2022 standard defines test methods for tensile strength, maximum tensile force and tensile energy absorption of tissue paper and paper towel products. The standard uses tensile testing equipment with constant elongation for measurement and provides methods for calculating the tensile index and tensile energy absorption index. In addition, this edition updates Appendix B to add methods for determining the tensile modulus. The standard applies to both types of tensile testing equipment, ensuring the accuracy and conformity of measurement results. This version replaces the 2016 edition and improves the Accuracy of testing through technical revisions, providing a reliable basis for quality control of paper products.
