The ISO 1 2625-5: 2016 standard specifies a method for determining the tensile strength of tissue paper and tissue paper products in the wet state. The standard applies to two types of tensile strength testing equipment: vertical and horizontal placement equipment. For vertical equipment, a device called a finch cup is used for wetting; for horizontal equipment, a heat-soaking device is placed between the clamps. This document describes in detail the specimen preparation, measurement procedures and test report requirements, and provides updates to the accuracy data. Through this standard, the tensile performance of paper products under wet conditions can be accurately determined, providing a scientific basis for the quality control of related products.
