The standard provides test methods for evaluating the performance of coatings under practical application conditions, including Color Stability, process hiding power, dissolve, lame plating absorption, wetting, surface texture and speckle. Compared with the previous version, this standard adds a new limit value requirement for surface texture, and divides the mottling assessment into two parts: measurement technology and visual evaluation. The standard applies to the research, development, production and quality control of Coating materials to ensure the applicability and safety of Coatings in industrial applications.
