GB/T 9758.1-1988 is a Chinese national standard for the determination of "soluble" lead content in Paints and varnishes. The standard specifies two determination methods: flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) and dithiohydrazone Spectrophotometric method, spectrophotometry, for Paints with lead content in the range of 0.05% to 5% (mass ratio). During the determination process, flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) is designated as the arbitration method to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the results.
