GB/T 17850.9-2021 specifies the technical requirements for cruciferous abrasive for steel surface spray cleaning before coating. The standard specifies the particle size range, apparent density (pb), mohs hardness, water content, water leaching liquid conductivity and water-soluble chlorides content of cruciferous abrasive, which is suitable for unused abrasive. Cruciferous abrasive is made of natural cruciferous minerals by washing, drying, sieving and magnetic separation. It is a kind of ferroaluminosilicate. This standard provides a technical basis for the production, supply, procurement and testing of crucible abrasives, ensuring its efficiency and safety in steel surface preparation, and promoting the relevant standards in our country to be in line with international standards.
