GB/T 17850.6-2011 "Technical requirements for non-metallic abrasives for spray cleaning of steel surface preparation before coating, Part 6: Iron-making slag" specifies the technical requirements for abrasives for spray cleaning of iron-making slag, including particle size range, apparent density (pb), mohs hardness, water content, conductivity of water leaching solution and water-soluble chlorides content. These requirements apply only to unused abrasives, not used abrasives. Standard proposed by the Chinese shipbuilding industry group company, the national paint and pigment standardization technical committee before painting metal surface preparation and painting process sub-technical committee, issued on December 30, 2011, implemented on October 1, 2012.
