"GB/T 19816.7-2005 Test method for metal abrasives for spray cleaning of steel surfaces prepared before coating, Part 7: Determination of water content" specifies the determination method for the water content of metal abrasives for jet cleaning. The standard equivalent adopts ISO 11125-7:1993, which determines the free water content of metal abrasives by measuring mass loss during heating. Its scope of application includes various types of metal abrasives for jet cleaning, which are mainly used to evaluate the moisture control of abrasives during storage and use. The standard is proposed by the Chinese shipbuilding industry group company, the national Coating and pigment standardization technical committee, issued on September 14, 2005, and implemented on April 1, 2006.
