GB/T 13942.2-2009 "Wood durability, Part 2: Natural durability field test methods" standard is used to evaluate the tolerance of wood to microbial damage and termite moth erosion in the natural environment. This part specifies the method and grading procedure for determining the durability of wood under actual field conditions when it comes into contact with soil. Through field tests, the durability data of wood in real environment can be obtained, providing a scientific basis for the application and protection of wood. This standard applies to the durability assessment of natural wood and is tested based on actual exposure conditions.
