GB/T 3 2710.12 - 2016 "Safety Specifications for Environmental Testing Instruments and Equipment, Part 12: Salt Tanks" specifies the safety requirements for laboratory salt tanks in terms of electric shock, electric burns, mechanical hazards, flame spread, high temperature, fluid pressure, radiation (including lasers, sound pressure and ultrasound), gas release, explosion and implosion. The standard applies to all measurement, control and laboratory salt tank equipment. The standard does not address content unrelated to equipment function, performance, transport Encasement, electromagnetic compatibility, explosion environment protection and maintenance personnel protection. If part or the whole of the salt tank equipment also applies to the standard of GB/T 32710 Miscellaneous part, it should also comply with the relevant requirements. Normative reference documents include GB 4208-2008 "Protection level of enclosure (IP code) " and GB 4706.1-2005 "Safety of household and similar electrical appliances - Part 1: General requirements".
