GB/T 3 2710.9 - 2016 "Safety Specification for Environmental Test Instruments and Equipment, Part 9: Electric heated incubators of constant temperature" specifies the safety specifications for laboratory equipment such as Electric heated incubators of constant temperature, electric blast thermostatic incubator, water-proof thermostatic incubator, Co2 incubator and Constant Temperature and Humidity Incubator. The standard covers electric shock, electric burns, mechanical hazards, flame spread, excessive temperature, fluid pressure, radiation effects, gas release, explosion and biological hazards. It does not address Reliability, performance, Encasement effectiveness, electromagnetic compatibility, explosion protection measures of equipment, and protection of maintenance personnel. This standard applies to heat source equipment above Environmental temperature for thermostatic treatment of air and samples in air. Applicable normative references include GB 4208-2008 "Shell Protection level (IP code) " and GB 4706 series standards.
