GB/T 40374-2021 specifies the determination method of lead and cadmium content in cemented carbide. It covers flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) method and inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy (AES) method, which are suitable for cemented carbide products. The standard specifies the principle of each method, sets requirements for equipment and reagent materials, and specifies the sample preparation and analysis process in detail. Through these two methods, the content of lead and cadmium in cemented carbide can be accurately determined, providing key detection basis and unified operation specifications for cemented carbide mass control and related production process optimization.
