This standard specifies the determination method of nickel content in molybdenum powder, molybdenum bar, molybdenum trioxide and ammonium molybdate. Spectrophotometric method, spectra-trophotometry and flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) are provided. The applicable measurement ranges are 0.0002% to 0.100% and 0.0001% to 0.0100%, respectively. The method is through analysis, complexation, extraction and Absorbance measurement of samples to achieve accurate determination of nickel content in samples. The standard provides a scientific basis for the quality control of molybdenum materials.
