This standard describes a laboratory test method for determining the non-stick tire time of traffic paints. Test the time that the Coating reaches no longer transfer to the wheel under specified conditions by repeatedly rolling a metal cylinder wheel with a rubber O-ring over the Coating surface. Control of variables such as paint film thickness, temperature, Humidity and Air Flow rate is required during the test. This test helps to assess the drying performance of the Coating and stain resistance in actual use.
