This standard specifies a method for the determination of arsenic content in iron ore by hydride generation-atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS), which is suitable for the determination of arsenic content in natural iron ore, iron ore concentrate and sintered products. The determination range is 0.00005% to 0.1%. The sample is dissolved by muriatic acid and nitric acid, and after a series of chemical treatments, hydrogen arsenide is generated by a hydride generator, and the arsenic content is determined by AtomicAbsorption Spectroscopy.
