GB/T 20255.3-2006 provides a flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS) method for the determination of molybdenum, titanium and vanadium in cemented carbide. Sample Handling of cemented carbide is first used to dissolve molybdenum, titanium and vanadium into a solution. These elements are atomized by a Flame atomization device, and the light spectrum instrument determines their absorption degree to specific wavelengths of light, known as Absorbance. According to the respective standard Linear dispersion, the content of molybdenum, titanium and vanadium is accurately calculated by Absorbance. This standard provides a key means for the mass control of cemented carbide, which helps to evaluate the composition and optimize the production process. It is widely used in cemented carbide production, testing and related machining industries.
