      GB/T 19718-2005 requires the determination of nickel content in jewelry by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). First, the jewelry sample is processed to dissolve the nickel element into the solution. The nickel atomization is made through the Flame atomization device, and the absorption degree of nickel atoms to specific wavelengths of light is determined by the light spectrum instrument. Then according to the standard Linear dispersion, the nickel content in jewelry is accurately calculated from the Absorbance. The standard provides a key technology for mass detection of jewelry, which can effectively control the nickel content in jewelry and protect consumer health. It is widely used in jewelry production, Quality control and other links.
