GB/T 223.76-1994 standard specifies a method for the determination of vanadium content in steel and alloys by flame atomic absorption spectroscopy (AAS). It is suitable for the determination of vanadium content in the range of 0.005% to 1.0%. After the sample is dissolved by acid, the measurement is carried out with the addition of aluminum as an interference inhibitor. This method determines the concentration of vanadium in the sample by the Absorbance of vanadium Hollow cathode lamp at a wavelength of 318.4 nm, providing reliable technical guidance for the accurate analysis of vanadium content in steel and alloys.
