The GB/T 13580.12-1992 standard specifies a method for the determination of sodium and potassium content in atmospheric precipitation by Atomic absirption spectropho-tometry, AAS, which is suitable for the determination of sodium and potassium concentration in atmospheric precipitation. The standard specifies the minimum detection concentration and measurement range of sodium and potassium, and analyzes them by calibrated Linear dispersion method. Since sodium and potassium are easily ionized, the standard also specifies the addition of deionizing agents to eliminate Ionization interference. This method provides an accurate test method for environment monitoring and analysis.
