This standard specifies a method for the determination of the amount of cobalt in cobalt oxalate, which is suitable for samples with a cobalt content range of 30% to 33%. The determination is carried out by the potential Titrimetric method. First, the dilute nitric acid analysis sample is used to oxidize cobalt (II) to cobalt (I) in an ammonia citrate solution using potassium ferricyanide. Then, the excess potassium ferricyanide is used to carry out back titration by the potential Titrimetric method and the standard titration solution of cobalt. This method can effectively determine the content of cobalt in cobalt oxalate and is suitable for the quality control of related materials.
