GB/T 30776-2014 specifies the test method for tensile strength and elongation at break of adhesive tapes. Applicable to all kinds of adhesive tape products. Tensile machine is used to fix the adhesive tape sample to the fixture according to the specified size. Stretch at a steady speed, record the tensile strength value of the sample at break for calculation of tensile strength, and record the elongation at break to obtain the fracture elongation. The standard specifies the accuracy requirements of the test equipment and specifies the sample prepative method, including size measurement and cutting requirements. Standardize the test process, such as tensile speed setting and data recording. According to this standard, two key mechanical properties of the adhesive tape can be accurately determined, which can help product mass control and application selection.
