This standard specifies a method for the determination of tin content in tin concentrates, applicable to samples with more than 30.00% tin content. The test process involves analysis of the sample with muriatic acid and potassium chlorate, removal of arsenic and settling of tin through ammonia water. After settling is ashing, it is melted using zinc powder borax - Boricacid and leached with muriatic acid. Tin is reduced to a divalent state, and using starch as an indicator, it is titrated to the light blue endpoint by potassium iodate standard solution to determine the tin content. This method ensures accurate determination of tin content and is suitable for analysis of tin concentrates with high tin content.
