GB/T 21781-2008 stipulates the determination of the melting point and melting range of chemicals by capillary tubing method. Applicable to all kinds of chemicals. Load the sample into capillary tubing and put it in a heating device to slowly heat up. Through observation devices such as Microscope, record the temperature when the sample starts to melt and completely melts, and determine the melting point and melting range. The standard specifies the capillary tubing specifications, heating rate and other equipment and operation requirements, and details the sample prepative and filling methods. According to this standard, the relevant parameters of chemical melting point can be accurately determined, providing key data support for chemical quality control, performance evaluation and R & D applications, and promoting the safe and efficient use of chemicals.
