GB/T 12680-2008 "Determination of general performance of alcohol-soluble dyestuff" specifies methods for measuring the relative strength, color light, insoluble content, solubility, light fastness, heat resistance and ash content of alcohol-soluble dyestuff. This standard applies to the comprehensive performance evaluation of alcohol-soluble dyestuff. The optical density value of dyestuff solution is determined by spectrophotometer, the relative intensity is calculated and the color light is evaluated. At the same time, the solubility test of dyestuff in ethanol and the detection method of light resistance and heat resistance are standardized. This standard provides technical support for the quality control and performance analysis of alcohol-soluble dyestuff products.
