GB/T 4893.2-2005 specifies the determination of moisture and heat resistance of furniture surfaces. The standard specifies the requirements for test equipment, such as constant temperature water bath devices. Humidity-specific damp cloths are placed on the furniture surface for a specified period of time to simulate the heat and humidity environment that may be exposed to in daily use. By observing whether the furniture surface has discoloration, blistering, cracking, disbonding and other phenomena after the test, the performance level of moisture and heat resistance is evaluated. This standard provides a unified specification for furniture mass testing, helping consumers understand the Reliability of furniture under heat and humidity conditions, and guiding enterprises to improve product processes and enhance the moisture and heat resistance of furniture surfaces.
