GB/T 13477.17-2017 specifies the method for measuring the resilience recovery rate of building sealing materials. The standard specifies the requirements of test equipment, such as tensile jigs, measuring tools, etc. Detailed preparation of the specimen, the sealing material is made into the specified shape and bonded to the substrate. After the specimen is stretched and deformed, the degree of rebound to the original state is measured to calculate the resilience recovery rate. This index reflects the ability of the sealing material to return to its original state after being deformed by external force, providing a basis for evaluating its adaptability in the long-term displacement changes of building joints, and helping to ensure the sealing effect and durability of the sealing project in the dynamics environment.
