GB/T 13477.17-2002 specifies the method for measuring the resilience recovery rate of building sealing materials. The standard specifies the equipment required for the test, such as tensile devices, measuring tools, etc. The preparatory process of sealing material specimens is described in detail. The resilience recovery rate is calculated by measuring the degree of recovery to the original state after tensile deformation of the specimen. This index can intuitively reflect the ability of sealing materials to return to their original state after external force, providing a key basis for evaluating the performance of building sealing materials in dealing with displacement and deformation during long-term use, and ensuring that the building sealing project maintains a good sealing effect under the dynamics environment.
