GB/T 5718-1997 is used to determine the colour fastness of Spinning & weaving products in dry heat (except hot pressing). The standard specifies the technical requirements for test equipment, such as thermostatic ovens, and details the sample preparation and test process, covering temperature, time setting and sample placement. By simulating the dry heat environment, the colour fastness of Spinning & weaving products under these conditions is evaluated according to the degree of fading and discoloration. It provides a test basis for the Color Stability of Spinning & weaving products in daily dry heat scenarios, such as drying and ironing (non-hot pressing), to help manufacturers control the product mass and ensure consumer experience.
