It is suitable for small-scale testing of rigid foam under laboratory conditions. The standard specifies the cases where molten or dripping materials are not applicable, and states that the test results cannot be used as the sole basis for assessing the actual fire hazard of the material. During the test, attention should be paid to the safety protection of toxic gases and high temperature steam.
