GB/T 3810.3-2016 "Test methods for ceramic tiles, Part 3: Determination of water absorption, apparent porosity, apparent relative density and bulk density" specifies methods for determining the water absorption, apparent porosity, apparent relative density and bulk density of ceramic tiles. This standard includes two determination methods, the boil method and the vacuum method, for evaluating the mass characteristics and product classification of ceramic tiles. The boil method is suitable for the classification and product description of water absorption.
