This standard specifies the method for the determination of organic halogen content in Spinning & weaving dyeing and finishing aids. It is suitable for the determination of organic halogen content in various types of Spinning & weaving dyeing and finishing aids, including organofluorine, organochlorine, and organobromine. After the sample is dispersed or dissolved in nitric acid aqueous solution, the organic halogen in the activated carbon adsorption solution is passed. Subsequently, the activated carbon containing the organic halide is burned, cracked, and gasified in a high temperature furnace to produce halogenated hydrogen gas. After being absorbed by alkaline aqueous solution, the halogen ions are separated and determined by Ion chromatography, and finally quantified by external standard method.
