        This standard replaces GB/T 13448-1992 and mainly deals with performance test methods for color coated steel plates and steel strips. Compared with the previous version, this standard updates a number of test methods such as Coating thickness, Gloss, bending, salt fog resistance, moisture and heat resistance, and adds organic solvent resistance, abrasion resistance, scratch resistance and other test items. The standard aims to provide a comprehensive set of test methods to ensure that the performance of Coated steel meets mass requirements and is suitable for applications in construction and manufacturing.
