GB/T 17911 - 2018 covers a number of test methods for refractory fiber products. This standard applies to all types of refractory fiber products, and clearly stipulates the methods of chemical analysis and physical performance testing for the products. In chemical analysis, the means of determining the fiber composition are standardized; in physical performance testing, the measurement process of density, thermal conductivity, thermal cissing rate and other items is involved, and the required equipment and operation steps are described in detail. Through these test methods, the mass of refractory fiber products can be comprehensively evaluated, which provides a basis for manufacturers to control product quality and users to choose materials reasonably, and helps the efficient application of related products in the high-temperature industrial field.
