GB/T 8243.5-2018 is the fifth part of the test method for full-flow oil filters for internal combustion engines, which is aimed at cold start simulation and hydraulic pulse endurance test. It specifies the test equipment and conditions for simulating cold start conditions, such as low temperature environment, starting pressure and other settings. At the same time, the process of hydraulic pulse endurance test is clarified, and the durability of the filter under complex working conditions is tested by applying different pressures in a cycle. The standard provides a basis for evaluating the performance of filters under extreme and dynamic working conditions, helping enterprises to improve product mass and ensure the stable operation of internal combustion engine lubrication systems under various working conditions.
