This standard specifies the test method for fire resistance performance of horizontal ventilated pipes under standard fire conditions. It is applicable to the inspection of the fire resistance performance of pipelines under the action of external fire and internal fire. It does not apply to the fire resistance performance of suspended ceilings, with access doors, multi-sided pipes, smoke exhaust pipes and hanging fixtures connected to walls or floors. Standards such as basic fire protection terms and fire resistance test methods for building components are quoted to ensure the safety performance of ventilated pipes in fire scenarios.
