This standard describes the determination of the particle size range, upper limit, lower limit, effective particle size, average particle size and uniformity factor of ion-exchanged Resin. Method 1 is suitable for spherical ion-exchanged Resin with a wet true density greater than 1 g/ml, and Method 2 is suitable for powdered or granular ion-exchanged Resin with a particle size in the range of 0.1 um to 3000 um.
